The islands feature diverse environments, including dense jungles, rocky terrain, sandy beaches, and scorching deserts. Each area hides valuable resources—but also deadly dinosaurs.
You begin with almost nothing. To survive, you must explore the islands, gather materials, craft tools, and build shelter. Careful planning and quick reactions are essential to endure this harsh and unpredictable world.
The Path to Survival
Life on Dinosaur Island revolves around four core actions: collect, craft, build, and survive.
- Gather Essential Resources: Start by collecting basic materials such as stones, logs, fruits, and coconuts. These resources provide food and crafting materials necessary for early survival.
- Craft Tools and Weapons: Use collected materials to craft tools that improve resource gathering and weapons that help defend against dinosaurs or hunt for food.
- Build a Safe Shelter: Shelter provides protection from danger. Construction happens step by step—begin with a floor, add walls and windows, and finish with a roof to complete your base.
- Explore New Islands: The game features five different islands, each with unique environments and challenges. Exploring them reveals new resources, tougher dinosaurs, and opportunities to upgrade your equipment.
