Blockader
Blockader is a sci-fi arena shooter built around one challenge: survive 30 waves of alien attacks. Your weapon fires automatically, but surviving takes more than constant movement. You need to control the space around your character, collect resources when it is safe, and choose upgrades that can keep pace with each new wave.
SURVIVE THE ARENA
Enemies enter the ring from different directions, turning open space into narrow escape routes. Moving along the edge can keep a swarm on one side of you for a while, but staying there too long risks leaving you trapped. Change direction before the gap closes, especially when the ranged Sniper starts firing into the arena.
Your gun targets nearby threats automatically, so movement also shapes your offense. Step toward a dangerous group to bring it into range, then pull away before faster enemies surround you. When several threats compete for your attention, clear a route first. Chasing a single enemy or resource drop through a crowd can cost you the space you need to survive.
BUILD AROUND YOUR UPGRADES
Clearing waves gives you upgrade card choices, with more than 100 cards spread across four rarities. The key is to judge a card by what it does for your current build. Extra attack power helps when enemies are surviving too long; an ability that covers another area may matter more when they keep reaching your sides.
Blockader’s skill combinations reward planning across multiple waves. Rather than taking every new ability offered, look for choices that strengthen one another. A build that clears crowded lanes, for example, leaves more room to dodge, while attacks that reach enemies outside your main focus can help protect against flankers. As tougher enemy tiers appear, check whether your upgrades are solving the problem you are actually facing.
Characters, Rewards, and Replay Value
Six characters offer different ways to handle the same arena. Lucky is available at the start. Byte fills the screen with bullets, Spike pierces crowded lanes with arrows, and Sludge wears enemies down with poison. Spark’s lightning can reach threats outside your immediate focus, while Orbit fights alongside a dragon helper.
Progress continues between attempts. Spend earned stars on gear and skill tree branches to develop your preferred approach, and collect Alien DNA and Nano Components for permanent improvements. The collection of 101 achievements adds further goals and star rewards, while leaderboard rankings give you a reason to refine a build after you have learned to survive the early waves.

TIPS FOR LONGER RUNS
- Protect an exit route. Move out of a tightening group before you are forced toward the ring’s edge.
- Treat drops as a risk decision. Collect them when you have space; do not cross a packed lane for one pickup.
- Adjust your build to the wave. If enemies are closing in faster than you can clear them, prioritize abilities that help manage groups.
- Keep moving against the Sniper. Change your position while watching for melee enemies that might block the next opening.
