Ant Flow is a color-matching puzzle game where tiny worker ants collect blocks from a layered pixel-art structure. Your goal is to remove every block by selecting the right colored ant boxes.
Only five waiting slots are available, making the order of your choices essential. The ants handle the collecting automatically, while you decide which groups can help uncover the next layer.
CLEAR THE BOARD IN THE RIGHT ORDER
Match Ants With Accessible Blocks
Examine the picture before selecting a box. Each chosen box moves into an empty waiting slot, allowing its ants to collect accessible blocks of the matching color.
White rings indicate blocks that can currently be collected. Buried pieces remain unavailable until the layers blocking them are removed. Clearing one color can therefore create opportunities for another.
Manage Your Waiting Slots
Each box contains a set number of ants. Once it has released its full group, the box disappears and frees its slot.
Choosing a color with no accessible matching blocks can leave a box waiting without making progress. If all five slots become occupied by groups that cannot work, you fail the level.
Controls
- Desktop: Left-click to select ant boxes, activate boosters, and interact with menus.
- Mobile and tablet: Tap boxes and function buttons on the screen.
GAME MODES AND EXTRA CHALLENGES
Main Levels
The main progression takes you through a series of pixel-art puzzles. Later stages introduce complications such as mystery cubes, locked blocks, and layouts with two nest openings. These additions make it harder to predict which colors will become accessible next.
Ant Rush
Ant Rush is an additional unlockable mode that offers challenges beyond the main levels.
Daily Challenges
Daily Challenges provide extra puzzles alongside the main progression, offering another opportunity to practice your planning.
Daily Rewards are a separate reward feature. The x2 option speeds up the ants’ movement without changing the basic matching rules.
BOOSTERS FOR A CROWDED BOARD
Support tools can help when limited space restricts your choices:
- Extra Slot: Temporarily adds a sixth waiting space.
- Shuffle: Rearranges boxes in the selection tray.
- Pick Up: Returns an active box to storage.
Choose a booster according to what is blocking your progress. Extra Slot creates room for another group, while Pick Up can remove a box that is occupying space without helping.
TIPS FOR SMARTER MOVES
- Favor groups that can finish their work. A box that clears quickly returns valuable space to your queue.
- Consider what each layer reveals. Removing a few blocking pieces may help several waiting groups.
- Recheck the picture after a collection. Newly exposed blocks can change your best next move.
- Avoid committing several boxes at once. Let the current groups work before using your remaining slots.
- Use boosters with a clear purpose. Identify the obstacle first, then select the tool that addresses it.
