A FISHING TRIP TAKES AN UNEXPECTED TURN
Bob begins the story by fishing peacefully with his grandfather. Their quiet outing soon goes wrong, leaving the little snail separated from his companion and carried toward a mysterious island.
The jungle may look cheerful, but it contains lava, carnivorous plants, hostile creatures, and other hazards. Bob continues crawling unless you stop him, which means an unnoticed danger can quickly end the level. Your goal is to guide him through the island and help him reunite with his grandfather.
Create a Safe Path Through Every Level
Bob moves forward automatically, while you control the objects around him. Buttons, levers, platforms, bridges, and other devices can open routes or protect him from danger.
Some mechanisms must be activated in a particular order. A platform may need to move before Bob reaches a gap, while another object could change his direction or block an enemy. Later puzzles combine several actions, requiring you to prepare the route and react at the correct moment.
You can also stop Bob, turn him around, or increase his speed. These abilities become especially useful when a puzzle contains moving traps or requires precise timing.
Explore 30 Tropical Challenges
Snail Bob 8 contains 30 levels that gradually introduce more complicated obstacles. Early stages demonstrate the basic interactions, but later puzzles require faster decisions and better planning.
Each level also hides three collectible stars. They may appear behind scenery or blend into the tropical background, encouraging you to inspect every corner of the screen. Reaching the exit completes the stage, but finding all three stars adds an optional challenge for observant players.
