Tomb of the Mask Neon

ABOUT TOMB OF THE MASK NEON

Tomb of the Mask Neon is a fast-paced arcade game that combines maze navigation with precise timing. You control a masked explorer moving through colorful pixel corridors filled with dots, coins, stars, enemies, and deadly traps.

The game includes 25 levels that gradually introduce more complex layouts and hazards. Completing the earlier stages eventually unlocks a special final challenge.

DASH THROUGH EACH NEON MAZE

Control Every Movement

Your character does not move one tile at a time. Pressing a direction sends the explorer across the corridor until a wall or solid surface stops them. You cannot slow down or change direction halfway through a move.

This rule makes each wall a temporary planning point. Before moving, check where the explorer will stop and whether another safe direction will be available from that position. A corridor may look harmless but lead directly into spikes or leave you with no safe route forward.

Collect Dots And Reach The Exit

Small yellow dots mark the paths you need to clear. You must collect them before finishing the level, while coins add points and stars reward more complete exploration.

Collectibles are often placed in side passages or near traps. Reaching everything may require entering the same area from different directions or taking a longer route before approaching the exit. Planning the order of your movements helps reduce unnecessary backtracking.

AVOID TRAPS AND MOVING ENEMIES

Fixed spikes are the first major threat, but later levels introduce hazards that follow specific patterns. Some spike panels repeatedly extend and retract, requiring you to wait for a safe opening. Moving enemies patrol corridors, while projectile traps can suddenly make an open lane dangerous.

Other stages add pursuing hazards and rising lava, forcing you to move faster. In these situations, waiting at a wall for too long can be as dangerous as choosing the wrong direction.

Before making a move, focus on three details:

  • The position where the explorer will stop
  • The timing of nearby traps or enemies
  • The next available escape direction

Touching a deadly obstacle ends the attempt, so controlled movement is usually more effective than pressing directions quickly. Masks unlocked through progression can provide special abilities, but careful route planning remains essential.
