Airborne BMX

Airborne BMX is a side-scrolling freestyle sports game built around speed, airtime, and precise landings. Every course sends your rider across dirt tracks filled with slopes, launch ramps, gaps, and uneven terrain. The goal is to reach the finish while performing valuable stunts and completing additional skill challenges.

BUILD MOMENTUM ACROSS THE TRACK

Speed depends on how effectively you pump through slopes and release at the top of each jump. Good timing creates more airtime, giving you enough room to perform flips, spins, and bike tricks before returning to the ground.

A successful landing secures your points and carries momentum toward the next ramp. Landing at an awkward angle can slow the bike, while a serious mistake throws the rider from the seat and forces you to restart. The physics make every jump a balance between ambition and control.

Turn Airtime Into Bigger Scores

Each ramp is an opportunity to expand your trick score. You can rotate the rider with the arrow keys while using individual or combined trick inputs to perform moves such as barspins, tables, tailwhips, supermans, and turndowns.

Longer airtime allows more complex combinations, but every extra move reduces the time available to straighten the bike. Watch the landing slope and stop rotating early enough to align both wheels with the ground. A shorter completed combo is always more valuable than an elaborate stunt followed by a crash.

The game records level and trick scores separately. This means simply reaching the finish may complete a course, but earning stronger results requires clean, high-value performances throughout the entire run.

Courses, Challenges, and Unlockable Content

The world-selection screen presents six environments:

  • Foothills
  • Dark Woods
  • The Mountain
  • Dustbowl
  • Wetlands
  • The Park

Foothills is available first, while the remaining locations must be unlocked through progression. Each environment introduces a different visual setting and a collection of designed courses.

Levels also contain optional skill challenges. These may ask you to complete the track, perform a particular trick, land a full rotation, or repeat a stunt several times during one run. Revisiting earlier courses is therefore useful for improving scores and clearing objectives that were missed on the first attempt.

Before riding, you can select a character and BMX bike. Additional choices and a custom-bike option provide further goals as you advance.
