ABOUT STICK RUN
Stick Run is a fast-paced 3D running game published on October 8, 2021. A group of stickmen has become lost inside a network of tunnels floating above distant cities, deserts, and snowy mountains. Your runner must travel through these dangerous passages and search for a route home.
The character moves forward automatically, leaving you responsible for every jump and tunnel rotation. Missing floors, narrow platforms, broken rings, and sudden openings can end a run instantly. Success depends on quick reactions, careful timing, and the ability to recognize a safe route before reaching the next obstacle.
RUN THROUGH A TUNNEL THAT WON’T STAY STILL
Each stage places your stickman inside a suspended 3D tunnel filled with gaps and fragmented surfaces. Jump over smaller openings or rotate the entire tunnel to move a wall or platform beneath the runner’s feet.
Rotation is the game’s defining mechanic. A surface positioned on the side of the tunnel can become the new floor, opening a path around an otherwise impossible gap. However, turning too late may leave the runner facing an empty section with no time to recover.
Some levels feature enclosed passages, while others open above vast landscapes. As the route becomes more complex, you must combine jumps and rotations smoothly to maintain momentum and reach the exit.
TWO WAYS TO TEST YOUR RUNNING SKILLS
Explore Mode
Explore Mode divides the adventure into numbered levels across multiple environments. The journey begins in the City, where a route map records your progress through connected stages. Winter and desert regions also appear as later areas to discover.
Completing stages opens more of the route and brings you closer to finding the stickmen’s way home. This mode is ideal for learning how different tunnel structures, broken platforms, and rotation patterns work.
Infinite Mode
Infinite Mode removes the level-based destination and challenges you to keep running for as long as possible. The tunnels continue ahead until one mistake sends your character into the void.
Gold appears along the route, giving you an extra reason to take calculated risks. Collected gold can be used to unlock additional characters or continue a failed run. The game also includes a high-score screen for tracking your best endless attempts.
CHARACTERS, GOLD, AND ACHIEVEMENTS
Stick Run includes a collection of unusual runners, several of which begin locked. You can browse the character selection screen and spend earned gold to expand your roster.
An achievement menu provides additional objectives beyond simply completing a level. These challenges reward actions such as progressing through Explore Mode, finishing themed areas, and interacting with special tunnel elements. Achievement rewards provide more gold for unlocking characters and extending future runs.
Controls
- Up Arrow: Jump.
- Hold the Up Arrow: Control the jump for longer or more precise movement.
- Left Arrow: Rotate the tunnel to the left.
- Right Arrow: Rotate the tunnel to the right.
- On-screen buttons: Click or tap the left, right, and jump icons when using the displayed controls.
TIPS FOR SURVIVING LONGER
- Look several platforms ahead instead of focusing only on the ground beneath your runner.
- Rotate the tunnel early when a safe surface is visible on either side.
- Use controlled jumps for nearby gaps and longer holds when crossing wider spaces.
- Avoid unnecessary rotations on narrow platforms because changing the floor also changes your landing angle.
- In Infinite Mode, collect gold only when you have a clear route back to safety.
- Learn the layout after a failed attempt and adjust your timing when replaying difficult Explore Mode levels.
